Mumbi Brooke Wandia (Second left) 2019 Digital Essay Competition Winner in English Secondary category.

The three things that made me won in the Digital Essay Competition were:

  1. Determination
  2. The urge to become a famous writer
  3. An open mind and the desire to win

My profession is writing and I am currently working on my first book entitled Life is an Enigma. It is a book borrowed from my life story.

My advice to other students is to grab opportunities that come their way. DEC is a wonderful program and, the world is an oyster and DEC is one of them. Don’t fear trying but instead fear losing an opportunity.
