Technology for Inclusion and Access: CES® 2021 Interview with the Consumer Technology Association Foundation [VIDEO]

How can we use technology to increase access and inclusion? In this video interview recorded for CES® 2021, Benetech Vice President of Global Education and Literacy, Brad Turner, and Product Manager, Katy Beehler, sat down with CTA Foundation trustee, Joellyn Gray, to discuss Benetech’s work to increase access to information for all people. The interview spotlights Benetech’s work in education and literacy to build an app to enable people with reading barriers to listen to books from Bookshare on smart speakers such as Alexa or Google Home. They also discuss Benetech’s Service Net initiative, which is helping communities better connect people in need to critical human services.

Benetech would like to thank the CTA Foundation for its support in the development of this smart speaker application and the opportunity to share our work at CES®. Learn more about the CTA Foundation.
